The new 2019 Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is now available on offer to graduating high school seniors. Up to 150 scholarships are awarded each year to US citizens.

We’ve done it for 30 years, changing the paths of more than 6,000 young people ready to change the world.

The service year starts with the Orientation Course which is seen by many as the most important and enjoyable part of being a corper.

NYSC Registration 2018 Batch B Prospective Corps Members Commences.

This is to inform all prospective corps members that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) portal will be opened today for 2018 batch B online registration.



Prospective corps members should ensure that they have a valid and functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.


How To Register For 2018 Batch B NYSC:
Graduates are to visit the Nysc online portal via www.nysc.org.ng for online registration and biometric data capture.
They should upload a Passport photograph with the following specifications;
– Ensure your face (eyes, nose, ears, mouth and jaw) is fully shown without bending.
– Ensure the picture is centralized and fills the frame.
– Ensure the Photo background is white or off-white with no shadow.

Unical Post UTME Admission Screening Form 2018/2019 is Out.

The Unical Post UTME 2018 form is now available. The Management of University of Calabar (UNICAL) wishes to inform all candidates who scored 150 and above in JAMB UTME and who have chosen University as their First Choice that they can now apply for the 2018/2019 academic session post UTME.

Registration will start from Thursday, July 12, 2018, when the portal will be open.

The management of Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) invites all eligible candidates to apply for the Post-UTME Admission Screening Exercise of the institution for 2018/2019 Academic Session.



ELIGIBILITY

Candidates who scored a minimum of 180 in the 2018/2019 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and  Direct Entry (DE) candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) their First Choice Institution are eligible for the screening.
In addition, each candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings.
Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission.  FUTA will not consider candidates with “Awaiting Results”.
Candidates MUST have at least a pass in physics to qualify for admission into any programme in FUTA

Babangida makes shocking revelations about origin of Boko Haram in Nigeria





A former governor of Niger, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, has revealed that dreaded terrorist group, Boko Haram would have started in the State because the sect leader, Shekau, was living in a place called Mokwa.

He said this on Monday in Abuja during the 12th annual conference and general meeting of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice.

He said his prompt action on security reports made available to him while he was governor, stopped Shekau from establishing a Boko Haram base in Niger State.

2019: Atiku reacts as PDP forms alliance with R-APC, others against Buhari



Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar on Monday commended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, R-APC and 38 other political parties.
The main objective of the agreement is to defeat President Muammadu Buhari in 2019.

Reacting, Atiku who was present at the meeting, said the new feat achieved by parties will lead to a better Nigeria.

Troops of 7 Brigade, Sector 3 of Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) encountered several of the terrorists at Arege, Borno State, weekend, killing 15 of them.

NYSC opens portal for Batch B registration


The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has opened its portal for the 2018 Batch B mobilization exercise.This was confirmed in a statement released on Monday.


The scheme said registration will open on July 10 and close July 16.“All Nigerians who have graduated from universities and mono/polytechnics both at home and abroad are to register for the mobilisation,” the statement read.

University of Maiduguri UNIMAID Post UTME Form 2018/2019 is Out.

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into degree programmes of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) for the 2018/2019 Academic Session and have scored 160 and above in the UTME, and a minimum of Credit in Diploma, 9 points in NCE/IJMB or Second Class Lower Division from a recognized institution for DE that there will be online screening for admission.


Method of Application:
Candidates should visit the University of Maiduguri website  and register for the online screening exercise. Candidates are to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (2,000) only for the registration including bank charges.
