JAMB Announce Checking of Supplementary UTME Computer Based Centres

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) wishes to inform candidates for the 2017 Supplementary UTME to start checking for their CBT centres and venue from today, 29th June.
According to the JAMB’s Head of Media and Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, who made this disclosure, candidates are to access their centres by visiting the JAMB e-Facility Portal.
He said the examination will still take place on Saturday, 1st July and assured candidates that necessary machinery has been put in place to ensure a hitch free exercise.

Benjamin disclosed that over 85,000 candidates will participate in the supplementary Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination across the country.

The N-Power Programme is an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria designed to drastically reduce youth unemployment. The focus is to provide young graduates with the skills, tools and livelihood to enable them advance from unemployment to employment, entrepreneurship and innovation.
The N-Power programmes is segmented as follows:
  • N-Power Teach – The programme will engage 500,000 qualified graduates for the benefit of basic education delivery in Nigeria.

2017 Nigerian Navy Recruitment Application Details, Requirements and Ratings Guideline Released
The Nigerian Navy wishes to inform the general public and all interested candidates that the online registration for 2017 Recruitment Exercise has commenced. The recruitment is currently open to those applying for the Nigerian Navy Ratings Cadre.

Applicants are hereby advised to go through the Entry Requirements and Guidelines below before proceeding to registration.

GENERAL EDUCATIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
  • A1 – Marine Engineer Artificers; OND in Marine or Mechanical Engineering (at least Lower Credit) and must also possess SSCE or equivalent with 5 credits inclusive of English Language, Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
  • A2 – Weapon Electrical Artificers; OND in Electrical Electronic Engineering (at least Lower Credit) and must also possess SSCE or equivalent with 5 credits inclusive of English Language, Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
  • A3 – Aircraft Engineering Artificers (Airframe Engine) Qualification;Diploma in Airframe & Engine recognized by ICAO and must also posses SSCE or equivalent with 5 credits inclusive of English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • A4 – Aircraft Engineering Artificers (Avionics & Aircraft Electrics, Electrical / Electronics); Certificate /Diploma in Aircraft Electrics & Avionics recognized by ICAO and must possess SSCE or equivalent with 5 credits, inclusive of English Language, Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
